New Student Orientation - Fall 2021

In addition to Bear Tracks, all first-year students are expected to attend our in-person New Student Orientation program. This five day program, which includes move-in day on Aug. 23 for students living on campus, will provide an opportunity for you to meet your incoming peers, get to know campus and the Missoula community, and learn about what it means to be a student at the University of Montana. 

Transfer students who complete their Online New Student Orientation are welcomed and encouraged, but not required to attend.

Families are invited to participate in activities Aug. 23-24.

Freshman Wilderness Experience students will operate on a slightly different timeline, and will need to move in to their residence hall on Aug, 19.
